Eric Fertman graduated from the Cooper Union in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Fine Art Degree. The Sculpture Center website describes his work as follows: "Combining the ordinary with the fantastic, his sculptures articulate shapes that seem neither natural nor hand-made, but form a playful dialogue between art and craftsmanship." Eric works in sculpture, film, video, drawing, painting and design. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
