BIOS Anna Harrison is a visual artist living in Bristol, UK. She has an MFA from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Anna is interested in recently outmoded technological devices which become obsolete, accumulate in the cultural wreckage of our past, and appear in other forms as "retro" objects. Salvaging these devices from disposal or redundancy, too recent to be of interest to the museum, she explores creative, new fictional possibilities. Anna uses drawing, photography and installation in her art practice, invoking images and objects with a retrospective strangeness, pathos and humour.
